People. Places. Things.
Burton Bar Central Library
From the outside in, the first thing you will notice is excellent architecture uniquely crafted in transparency. Massive glass interior and exterior windows complement the see through elevators, and large ceilings. Rustic metal mixed with concrete, this building straddles the I-10 and is parallel to the light-rail. Besides the visual draw, I love the warmth of the employees. The good folks working here are dressed up in business attire and care for the many homeless people who frequent this downtown spot. Located on Margaret T Hance Park this library offers cold AC in the summer heat, diverse people groups, proposition petitions, a dope view for writing lyrics and the occasional poetry slam.
